- There is a stand-alone version of gcc out there, but you are probably
- best served by CodeWarrior or Symantec C++, especially if you are in
- any way affiliated with an educational institution. The Edu discounts
- on these products are outstanding.

- If that doesn╣t apply to you, you might want to try finding a Mac
- programmer who no longer needs his or her old copy of THINK C 5 or 6.
- You╣ll be a little out of date, but at least it╣s a good compiler for a
- low proce.
